Enid lights up the plains november 29th, 2024
Mark your calendars and get ready to kick off the holiday season at the 31st Annual Enid Lights Up the Plains! For over three decades, this beloved community event has been a staple of the holiday season, lighting up downtown Enid the Friday after Thanksgiving.
Join us for a festive evening packed with Black Friday shopping, food trucks, and holiday vendors. Capture the magic with pictures with Santa, take a carriage ride or B.A.T. Mini Express Ride downtown, and enjoy an array of special additions that make this event better every year! Don't miss the Parade of Lights and be sure to check out the OG&E Tree of Lights on the Courthouse Lawn which is built by local hands and features a light show engineered by local engineer, Ryan Sudlow. Plus, lace up your skates and glide into the season at the Holidays on Ice rink, and enjoy live music that will have you singing along to your favorite holiday tunes.
And, of course, we’ll end the night with a bang—the spectacular as always Park Avenue Thrift Grand Firework Finale! But that’s not all! This year, you'll have opportunities to celebrate the incoming holiday season with festive fun throughout the entire weekend, so stay tuned for updates and make your weekend in Enid truly magical. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!
More information and sign-ups for the parade of lights, food trucks, and vendors will be available soon!
