About Downtown teens
What would teens like to see and be a part of during First Fridays in Downtown Enid?
Are you a teen aged 14-19 who loves Enid and eager to contribute to the community and make a difference? The summer program will be geared towards hosting an event during our regularly scheduled First Fridays in June-September, planned specifically for teens, by teens! The Downtown Teen Summer Program offers a unique opportunity for teens to take charge in organizing, promoting, and coordinating events.
*Once all of the applications have been received, a committee will review your submission and will reach out whether or not you have been accepted. Application deadline is May 15. 2025.

What's expected
attendance
You will be a part of the Downtown Teens committee, which will meet twice a month from June-September. You will also be asked to attend all events planned through this committee. Teamwork!
Planning
You will help plan, lead and organize several events that run with our First Fridays downtown. This will be a great opportunity to learn what goes on behind the scenes for events!
respectful behavior
We ask that all those that join this committee be respectful of their fellow committee members, local businesses downtown and members of the community. We are all working together to make great things happen in our wonderful downtown!
